This bung mounted drum mixer threads directly into standard 2" NPT bung fittings, allowing for mixing in drums and vessels with closed lids.
Features of our bung mounted mixers include:
- Compatible with both side and center placed bung openings
- Folding impeller designed to slip through a bung opening and open when the motor is powered on
- Heavy-duty explosion proof electric motor for safe use in hazardous environments
- Gearbox allows for lower RPMs and higher torque
- Heat-treated aluminum housing for durability and lightweight portability
- Wetted materials made of 316 or 304 grade stainless steel for high corrosion and abrasion resistance
- Offers options for selecting horsepower, and an appropriately sized folding impeller will be matched to the mixer
